REL Developments are a Technology and Innovation company based near Cambridge, UK. We licence patents and intellectual property to our strategic global manufacturing partners, allowing our products to be deployed in multiple global locations.
How We Work
Our UK R+D offices are home to a highly developed resource for our manufacturing partners to produce existing and new products for Metering, Lighting Control, HV Charging and Solar Power. We have two strategic manufacturing partners in India, one for the India and China market for 80A products, and one for the export market in 100A and 120A applications.

Product Range
We have a range of patented latching relay products, for Energy Meters, Lighting Control, Hybrid Vehicle Charging and Solar Power systems. All products are fully UC3 Certified by independent laboratories, and meet all requirements of current metering standards.
All our products designs are fully patented, and in partnership with our manufacturing partners, we offer a unique, low cost solution to our customer’s requirements. We can provide full customisation with shunts, bus bars and braids, as well as current transformers.
